Swim Camp (5 Days in a Row) | Ages 5+ Years
Our Swim camps are designed to help build confidence
and swimming skills for your child.
These 5 day swim camps will help jump start your
child’s swimming abilities by helping to
reinforce their swim skills at their swim level.
We are available to swim test your child to see
what group would best meet their swim needs.
Swim groups are
broken into colors and meet for 30 minute sessions.
These groups will have up to 5 swimmers at a time.
Your child can progress in each group with Levels
1-3.
Swimming Levels
Blue Swim Safe Level
| Safety Skills
5 Yrs & Older - (Do not need
to know how to swim)
Level 1
- Blowing
bubbles (through mouth)
- Choo-choo along the wall
- Row arms
- Kick legs with proper body position
- Back floating with assistance
- Beginning retrieval of objects from the bottom
- Independent recovery to the wall with assistance
Level 2
- Stroke development; beginning arms and legs combined
- Independent floating and rollover to front
- Increased swimming distance
- Independent jump and recovery back to the wall,
stairs or ladder
- Retrieve
objects from the bottom with assistance
Level 3
- Beginning breathing
- Refined technique of arms and legs in prone body
position
- Increased swimming distance
- Beginning stages of freestyle and backstroke
- Independent jump, prolonged float on back with
rollover to front
- Retrieve objects from the bottom with increased
depth
Green Swim Skills Level | Swim Skills
5 Yrs & Older - (Must
be able to swim back to wall)
Level 1
- Blowing bubbles through mouth and nose
- Independent streamline
- Row arms across pool
- Kick legs in a prone body position with straight
legs
- Beginning float and roll over
- Independent jump and recovery
- Beginning stages of freestyle arms and breath
- Independent Front breath
Level 2
- Proper Arm Placement
- Begin Rhythmic breathing, bobbing and beginning
breathing
- Side glide kick and breathing on side
- Streamline kick and breath on side exercise
- Freestyle and streamline swimming (distance)
- Independent jump and prolonged back floating
- Back streamline off wall with shoulder movement
Level 3
- Advanced freestyle with 3 stroke alternate Flip
Turns
- Backstroke
- Dolphin and breast stroke kicks
- Continuous lap swimming
- Independent
retrieval of underwater objects with surface dive
Yellow Swim Team Level |Competition Skills
5 Yrs & Older - (Must
be able to swim freestyle and backstroke)
Level 1
- Rhythmic breathing – continuous bobbing
- Prone body positions both front and back with
kick
- Freestyle and back stroke exercise
- Breast stroke break down with kick, arms and
breath
- Breast stroke complete
- Treading water for one minute
Level 2
- Freestyle and back stroke exercise
- Breast stroke exercise
- Streamline dolphin kick
- Butterfly Break down
- Butterfly laps
- Treading for 1 to 5 minutes
Level 3
- Long distance continuous swimming
- Freestyle
- Backstroke
- Breaststroke
- Butterfly
- Short distance racing
- Freestyle
- Backstroke
- Breaststroke
- Butterfly
- Individual medley swim training and Relay swimming
