Children Learn to Swim Quickly and Safely with New
Children’s Book
There’s
no doubt about it…children enjoy being near the
water. Whether they’re at the beach, the
pool, or a water park, playing in water brings smiles
to children’s faces everywhere. With all
of the fun activities there are involving water, it’s
important all children learn how to swim. Author
and swimming instructor Julie Gross has written a children’s
book called “Learn
to Swim with Mr. Blue” geared
towards helping your children learn to swim in a safe
and super fun way.
“Learn
to Swim with Mr. Blue” follows Mr.
Blue on his journey as he learns to swim. Somehow
Mr. Blue has forgotten how to swim so he must rely on
his friends’ help and encouragement to swim once
again. By traveling along with Mr. Blue and his
friends, your children realize they aren’t alone
and there are others who are also learning to swim. The
book is jam-packed with colorful pages, fun characters,
a silly swim song, and educational swimming techniques. Your
kids will quickly learn the basic swimming skills in
a fun productive way.
Julie Gross’ wrote her new book to help children
learn the techniques she teaches in her “Learn
to Swim in Five Days” program. The book is
designed to be used in conjunction with the swim lessons,
allowing your children to learn in and outside of the
pool. The book’s characters are based on
the actual toys she uses during her lessons. She
names the toys according to their color or appearance,
so they’re easy for your children to remember. This
allows your child to take what they learn from the pool
back home with them and vice versa.
“Learn
to Swim with Mr. Blue” combines
the things that stimulate children’s minds with
all of the educational techniques necessary for swimming. Being
certified in Elementary Education and Kindergarten, Julie
Gross knows what helps children learn and she used her
knowledge in creating her new book. When it comes
to swimming, the earlier in life you learn the basic
swimming skills, the safer you will be when around water. If
your child doesn’t know how to swim yet, let Julie
Gross and Mr. Blue help them take the leap from the kiddie
pool to the deep end.
